2pm - Entertainment from Jim & Dr Nick at Benone Tourist Complex, Benone.

2pm - Traditional Music at the Green Lane Museum, Roe Valley Country Park, Limavady

8pm - The Paperboys at Radisson SAS Roe Park Resort.

Five bands, one location, a good night was had by all. There was only one winner and it was Stone Crow. Congratulations guys.

Danny Boy Festival - Day 3

Events for Saturday 2nd May

9am - Danny Boy Golf Competition (full members only) at Radisson SAS Roe Park.

1pm to 3pm - Lord Mayor's Parade (finishing at Limavady Show Grounds).

8pm - Abbatastic (with support from Brown Sugar) at Liamvady Football Club.

Missprint have pulled out, so the first band will be at 9.30pm or thereabouts.

Danny Boy Festival - Day 1

So day one is finally here. To be honest it doesn't feel that long since the last Danny Boy Festival, but it is exactly a year. So here we go.....

9:00am - Danny Boy Ladies Golf tournament (yeah I know it started 20 minutes ago) at the Radisson SAS Roe Park.

7.30pm - 9.30pm - WELB Concert - featuring exerpts from "The Hiring Fair" at Limavady High School.

Danny Boy Rox: The Lineup

Danny Boy Rox is just over a week away, taking place on May 1st at The Lair (Limavady Football Club). The lineup is confirmed for the competition. So the bands taking part are:

• Tommy Shots
• Delayed Reaction
• Miss Print
• Betty Lee and the Blonde
• Bleeding Saints
• Stone Crow

The running order is yet to be decided. Both Tommy Shots and Bleeding Saints took part last year and performed brilliantly. Expect the quality (and the volume) to be extremely high.

Danny Boy Festival update.

The final programme of events is now on the Limavady Borough Council website. It looks like Danny Boy Rox is now back at The Lair (Limavady Utd. Football Club).

The Danny Boy Festival is running from 30th April to 3rd May this year. You can view the programme of events here. For those in a band, you'll be glad to hear that Danny Boy Rox is running again.

This time it's being held at the Limavady Show Grounds. First the Gorteen, then Rock The Valley and now the showgrounds.
