Music: Mirenda Rosenberg performing at Alexander Arms

She came to Limavady, she knocked Limavady into a soulful hat and wore it.... and now she's coming back.

That's the good news, now for the bad news. The gig for 7th August has already sold out, she's so good that it comes as no great shock to me. If you are a man, a word of warning, bring some running shoes if you need to escape from the venue. Those who have been on the receiving end will know what I mean :)

Joking aside, if you have tickets and haven't seen her perform you are in for one excellent evening.

Entertainment tonight, the choice is yours.

All depends where you are: in Limavady there's the Jazz/Blues Festival which will be good. Main highlight, get your pants down to the Alexander Arms at 7.30pm where Mirenda Rosenberg (and one storming band) will be band man hunting with a jazz blunderbuss. You've been warned.

Not in Limavady and a scorching fashionista? Portrush is the place then, the North West What To Wear at Lush (Kelly's) at 8pm. A load of catwalk going on from various designers and outlets in the area. Don't forget to say hello to the man up the stepladder.
